To use Cheta, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding legal contract. Access to certain tier capabilities (such as increased funding limits and virtual cards) requires identity verification in compliance with statutory financial guidelines.
3. Wallet & Financial Services
Cheta provides non-custodial financial workflow tools and interfaces:
- Multi-Currency Displays: Balance displays in USD or NGN reflect real-time reference rates. Currency conversions are executed upon explicit user confirmation with locked quotes.
- Transfers: Cheta-to-Cheta transfers are processed in real time. Ensure recipient tags or phone numbers are accurate before confirming.
- Crypto Interactions: Crypto buy actions deliver assets directly to your provided external address. Crypto deposits convert automatically to fiat balance upon required network confirmations.
4. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance
We maintain strict zero-tolerance policies against illicit financial activities, fraud, and money laundering. We reserve the right to pause or terminate accounts that exhibit fraudulent, unauthorized, or suspicious activities.
5. Account Security
You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials, transaction PIN, and device access. Cheta staff will never ask for your PIN, OTP, or passwords.
